Douglas Gardham is a Canadian author based out of Toronto.  He has written two books, The Actor and The Drive In. Doug grew up expecting to go to college and work at a steady job to provide for his family. For a while, that was exactly what he did, but he felt there was more to life. He decided to follow his love of books, which is what catapulted him into his passion for writing. While he originally worked with music and lyrics, his writing  evolved over time into short stories and novels.

Doug joins me today to discuss his draw to writing, and his inspiration to publish his first book. He shares what inspired him to become a writer and how he transitioned from working in the corporate world into becoming an entrepreneur. He also explains how his writing has evolved over the years and shares his insight and advice for new artists and business owners.

“If you’re not willing to bet it all, you don’t want it bad enough” - Douglas Gardham
